Ezi Secondary Commercial School

The first project by FAY Foundation has helped over a 1000 disadvantaged children at Ezi Secondary Commercial School (ESCS) in the village of Ezi, Nigeria                                                                                       

ESCS was founded in the 70s and was in a very bad shape by 2005. Our Chairman visited ESCS, which he used to attend as a child, and he was shocked. Together with the school staff and the other FAY Board members, a project was developed. 3 years later all 4 buildings were fully renovated and equipped with a library, sports field, furniture, water and a computer room.

Moreover, the quality of education has improved and young teachers are accommodated on the compound.  The school’s number of students has been rising since as well as the percentage of students graduating. The school’s facilities and quality of curriculum form a lasting improvement in the children's education, offering them a better preparation to further education and employment.
