Project ESCS handed over in ceremony

FAY has been able to finalize phase 3 of the ESCS project aimed to improve secondary education for disadvantaged youth in Ezi. On November 17, 2008, the Delta State Commissioner of Education as well as ESCS organized a handover ceremony to celebrate the success and officially call the project completed. More information about this ceremony and the elements which comprised phase 3 will be published here soon.

Thanks to huge donation

The students at ESCS were happily surprised in August 2006, when they found their school building had been renovated. They now also have a well for clean water, new toilets and solid school chairs. Ever since this project started (in December 2004), the students and their families in Ezi have seen the school changing drastically. Student numbers have increased from 710 to 1012. This implies 302 new students went from not having any secondary education to having a real outlook. Therefore, their families are happy to pay the little income they have so that their children are able to attend the great ESCS. The modern facilities contribute to the students’ happiness and improved performance. They have the hope of a better future.
